The Directors Awards is a new, forward looking film initiative that provides a showcase to formally recognise existing and emerging film directing talent to both the industry and the public.
The Directors Awards and its ongoing supporting activity is an annual event to celebrate film directing talent. Though initially launched in the UK, The Directors Awards will reach out and attract international contributors and an international audience. Our extensive panellists, advisors, industry leaders, award nominees and eventual award winners will reflect the most talented and innovative amongst the world’s film makers. As such it will have events in London, Los Angeles, Beijing and Mumbai.
From Hollywood to Bollywood, from documentaries to shorts, from studio feature films to independents, The Directors Awards programme will include special events to promote the film industry and the art of directing.
